Day 4: Discovering Armenia’s Natural Wonders and Ancient Monasteries
On the fourth day, we marveled at the natural wonder of the Symphony of Stones, a breathtaking rock formation, before heading to the ancient Garni Temple, a pagan site with stunning views. Our day concluded with a visit to the UNESCO-listed Geghard Monastery, carved into the cliffs and surrounded by dramatic landscapes.
Symphony of Stones
The entrance to the Symphony of Stones costs 300 AMD, providing visitors with access to this remarkable natural wonder. The breathtaking basalt formations and the surrounding landscape make it a must-see destination for nature lovers and those interested in Armenia's geological beauty.
Geghard Monastery
Geghard Monastery is free to visit and offers a captivating experience with its stunning architecture carved into the cliffs. Surrounded by dramatic landscapes, it is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a significant spiritual and historical landmark in Armenia.
