The Garahotel is a boutique hotel, a small capacity hotel that offers more personalized service, in the north of the island of Tenerife. The location is perfect: away from the hustle and bustle of the south and close to the most beautiful sights in the north of the island. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a carafe of house wine in the fridge and a basket of fresh fruit. The room was neat and inviting, with two bathrobes and hotel slippers laid out in the bathroom. The hotel has two terraces. Take the carafe of wine to the highest terrace and enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the water and the mountains! Start your day fresh with a dip in the natural pools of El Caletón, which are located directly across from the hotel. Then, a hearty breakfast buffet awaits you at the Garahotel. The buffet offers a daily selection of local products, with varying hot dishes. The friendly staff is always ready to meet your wishes, whether you want an extra egg or a second cup of coffee. Parking is easy with various options nearby. You can park your car on the street of the Garahotel or in the free parking lot around the corner. And don't forget to visit the picturesque village of Garachico! With its colorful, lively streets, cozy little restaurants, and happily fluttering flags, it is highly recommended.
Garachico, the most authentic village of Tenerife
In the picturesque and authentic village of Garachico on Tenerife, it is not about mass tourism, unlike the tourist hotels in the south. Although more and more tourists are discovering this town, you still find yourself really among the locals. You can stroll through the charming streets, relax in the natural pools, and enjoy small restaurants with local specialties. Garachico is located on the north coast of the Canary Island of Tenerife, where the microclimate can sometimes change surprisingly. You can start the day in a thick fog and a few hours later enjoy bright sunshine.
