A tour through Soho & Covent Garden

The beating heart of London, Covent Garden is a great starting point for your weekend in the city. Take your time to visit the Covent Garden market, Neal's Yard, Floral street and all the nice alleys surrounding this area. You can have a great lunch at Dishoom Covent garden (make a reservation on beforehand!), Ave Mario or the more traditional Mother Mash - here you can eat Bangers & Mash for very fair prices.

Tourist route: Westminster bridge & surroundings

Prepare yourself for one people-packed walk over the Westminster bridge. Even Waterloo Bridge and the Jubilee bridges can be quite busy during the day, but Westminster tops the list. Nevertheless, enjoy the beautiful views on both sides of the Thames: the London eye on the one side, classical structures and the city of London on the other. Make your way back through a less crowded way such as the Victoria Embankment

Natural wine bar in the heart of Covent Garden

Lady of the Grapes is a tiny wine bar in Maiden Lane, in the heart of Covent Garden. The wine bar is in good company of other good restaurants such as a tapas bar, a traditional Indian place, a sourdough pizza baker and good coffee bars. Nevertheless, Lady of the Grapes is worth a visit. Drink by the glass or order a bottle and some snacks, and don't forget to take a look inside for a marvelous collection of natural and biodynamic wines.

Dinner at Da Henrietta

Da Henrietta takes you on the journey along the Italian West Coast, with a menu inspired by the rich cuisine of Liguria and Toscana. The restaurant has a stylish modern decor, with sleek wooden furniture and soft lighting that creates a warm ambience. Make sure to order enough plates, since the dishes are quite small. We loved the peach and burrata salad and truffle ravioli.
