On we go - From Zhabeshi to Adishi
The shortest section of our hike, just 11 km, and the views just kept getting better and better..!

Wake up at sunrise
What a treat to wake up to these views!

Hike on!
Another day, 11km this time, of hiking through absolutely amazing scenery. The path leads you through dense forest and open areas filled with wildflowers and wide views over the mountains ahead. We even spotted some wild horses!

Rest spot Adishi
At the end of the hike, you will find yourself in Adishi, a tiny settlement where 3 quarter of the houses are in ruins. We found a little bric-a-brac bar where we recovered from our walk with a beer and a little nap in an equally thrifty hammock. We stayed the night at Gunter Guesthouse - don't expect any luxuries here, you will really live like a local. It almost felt surreal that people lived there and opened up their guesthouse for us (they all move back to the cities as soon as the first snow falls). Made me really appreciate how lucky and comfortable we are at home..
