Swim with whale sharks

Make an appointment a day ahead or book online. It will cost you around 170 euros per person. This includes snacks, soft drinks, and a wetsuit. The whale shark season runs from October to May. Whale sharks are in the area year-round, but it's a higher concentration between October and May. We took an excursion with the 'La Paz VIP tours' because they do the tours in small groups. But you can book anywhere you like; La Paz is full of offices offering the same. So if you walk around, you can make a reservation on the spot. Just be careful that you choose a company that respects the sea animals! (Check the Google reviews before you book). PS. It's not as scary as it looks. In my experience, it was very peaceful, and I loved every second of it.

Playa Balandra, La Paz, Mexico

Sunset spot

Playa Balandra is a 30-minute drive from La Paz. It's perfect for a whole day of beach and kayaking. Nevertheless, the beach is ideal for its sunsets. Just walk up the hill and enjoy.
