British adventurer and author Alastair Humphreys defines a microadventure as an overnight outdoor adventure that is “small and achievable, for normal people with real lives”. So hiking up to a lake, pitching your tent, staying the night & going back home in the morning sounds like the perfect microadventure to me. The "Lacs de Pétarel" should definitely be on your list if you're visiting the region of La Chapelle-en-Valgaudémar in France (the Western side of the mountain range called Les Écrins).
