Get ready to become a top chef by taking a Thai cooking class! For this, we really recommend Mama Noi’s Cookery School. We had so much fun there, and also learned quite a lot. We couldn’t wait to write about our experience! Our culinary journey began with a visit to a local market, where we learned all about the ingredients that make Thai cuisine so flavorful. Then, it's off to Mama Noi's picturesque setting, located amidst lush greenery with beautiful gardens in the back. Here we had our own cooking station and the guidance of Fern, our funny and experienced teacher of the day. First, it was time to wander around the school's organic garden and hand-pick fresh ingredients that we had to use in our dishes, so cool. We even got to taste all of them! After that, we had to choose from a selection of traditional Thai dishes. Ultimately, we decided on Pad Thai, Tom Yum Kung, and Khao Soi. We really liked Mama Noi's personalized approach, it was great to be able to finetune the experience to our own preferences. We first prepared everything, like cutting the vegetables and making the sauce. After that it was time for the most fun part: cooking! This was so much fun, throwing the ingredients in one at a time until everything's ready. We must say that everything turned out great, so hats off to us! Lastly, we made some mango sticky rice and Thai Tea to finish off an amazing day.
