I have just returned from an intercultural trip to Benin. I am a teacher and I left with 12 students for an exchange with young Beninese people. A journey rich in learning and emotions.
I had the opportunity to visit Ganvié, a village on stilts not far from Cotonou. To visit this place you board a canoe which takes you to the heart of these atypical dwellings. More than 45,000 people live in this village. It is also from this place that the Pairi Daiza park in Belgium was inspired to represent the African part.
