Oyster & Cycling Paradise

I don't know what I can compare it to, but the region has an atmosphere you would like to be in all year round. You don't go there on 'holiday', but you stay there as if you were at home, living at the pace of the tides. Arcachon is the ideal base for exploring the area around the basin. From here you can go in all directions; towards the beaches of the Ocean with as highlight the highest dunes of Europe (Dune du Pilat), or you take the bicycle towards la Teste-de-Buch where the oyster huts are teeming. The freshest and cheapest. Today we take the ferry to the other side of the Bassin. Welcome to the boho chic peninsula of Le Cap Ferret. Where wealth, oysters and rosé flow, without the allure of the south of france. In high season you can take the ferry, crossing several times a day from the pier in Arcachon. Bicycles can also be taken on the ferry!
