What to do when 48 hours in Valencia?
1. Discover the old city center with its narrow streets, lively squares & beautiful architecture
2. Spoken of architecture: visit the City of Arts & Sciences existing of different architectural masterpieces designed by Calatrava
3. Rent a bike and take a tour in the wonderful Tura park, an old river bedding transformed into a green long around the city
4. Go on a sailing trip by the Marina. Valencia is situated close to the sea and even has a wide sandy beach to enjoy in summer.
5. Drink Agua de Valencia, the cocktail you should taste in this city made of fresh orange juice, cava & mixed with a spirit such as gin, vodka or cointreau
6. Eat the typical Valencian paella made with love of the local chefs around the city
7. Visit the local 'Mercats' where you can taste the most delicious local food
8. Have lunch just outside the city at Villa Indiano. Just 15min. from the city center you arrive at the Valencian countryside where this magical old mansion is located. You can come here to have a drink on the terrace or enjoy a typical lunch in the restaurant.
A lot to do in Valencia & 48 hours is actually way to short. I would recommend spending 3 to 4 days in this Spanish city as there is a lot more to discover!
